Pre Qualification Service
Within the last year an Act of Parliament combined the CDM (Construction Design Management) Regulations, AcoP (Approved Code of Practise) and the CHSW (Construction Health, Safety and Welfare) Act.
This legal enforcement has made industry Regulators start to investigate that Clients are checking that their Contractors are evaluating their own supply chain to help reduce business and insurance risk on all projects.
The mechanism chosen for adhering to this policy has been the distribution, completion and collection of a Pre Qualification Questionnaire (Pre Qual) for every chosen vendor prior to working on a construction site. For many Contractors this is a large paper based document and although 90% of the information is standard, the questions are all asked and structured differently.
As many Contractors now need to prove that they have a Pre Qual completed for the whole of their supply chain, we have created a free web based Pre Qualification mapping service aimed at reducing the number of paper based documents that our Users need to send out by email and post.
All Contractors need to do is simply select a company from the Building Register and choose 'Our Pre Qual' option. Within seconds the on-line system merges and maps all the selected company details from our system into their own branded Pre Qual document - quick and easy, saving both parties hours of paperwork and cost.
