New StruCad Freeware released by AceCad Software
AceCad Software, based in Derby, has released a freeware version of their popular StruCad Software to aid steel design and fabrication. It is available for immediate download across their international websites.
AceCad, who released StruCad V15 in November 2008, believe that the freeware version supports and reinforces their complete Fabrication Information Modelling solution; management of the entire process from the beginning design stages through to actual site erection.
The freeware version contains all the latest enhancements of StruCad V15 and is available in several different languages. It enables users to view and check designs and associated drawings in minute and complex detail. Compatible with Microsoft Vista, StruCad offers increased confidence to clients, consultants, architects, fabricators and onsite erectors alike. It does this by offering the latest 3D rendered fly through mode, thus showing the viewer all aspects of the onscreen model and allows manipulation, visualisation and functionality second to none. Enhancements include a gradient background and a horizon effect to improve the viewing experience and make decision making easier. The StruM.I.S. Net Management Suite from AceCad is also included for increased usability.
AceCad Software Ltd has been in operation since 1986 and is classed as a leading supplier of software solutions to the steel industry.
