Bosch Security Systems, Renowned For Their Innovative Approach To Surveillance Systems, Have Released Their Latest Version Of Divar.
The latest Divar XF digital has been held in high expectation. Bosch’s stringent product requirements stated that there should be a higher resolution rate, increase of capacity storage, a move from PC based to embedded Digital Versatile Recorder (or DVR) and a more user-friendly and flexible application.
The Divar XF recorder met these requirements and offers the user even more. With 8/16x real time, 25 fps @ 4 CIF (Common Immediate Format) recording, picture clarity isgreatly improved, even the smallest details are captured by this security system. There is also a digital zoom feature which varies from 1.5x through to 5x. This is ideal for itemised crowd surveillance and security in busy environments such as shopping centres, banks, casinos, hotels and stadiums.
The new Divar XF is the first Bosch recorder of its kind to use an advanced H.264 hardware compression system. This feature uses less bandwidth and in addition, reduces storage costs of up to 30%, an improvement on the previous MPEG-4 system used in other DVRs. With the ability to run on a lower bandwidth, the Divar XF is ideally suited to low performance PCs and has support for Windows Vista.
The new DVR is also fitted with innovative Control Centre Software. This new feature allows the user to remote-manage the system including the ability to view and control live action and play back of recorded material. There is also a remote alarm system integrated within the Control Centre Software to heighten security and it is now easier to export recorded video material to another location.
System maintenance has also been enhanced on the new model. With four easy-to-access hard drives on the front of the unit, adding or replacing capacity drives has never been easier. This means that the user can easily increase the capacity when required, for instance for surveillance of a large event or crowd.
With the Bosch Video Management System (or VMS), the Divar XF can be easily linked to any Bosch IP network surveillance system, providing easy control over all CCTV systems on the premises. The DVR can also be integrated into third party security systemsusing Bosch’s VideoSDK (Software Development Kit) increasing overall surveillance.
The new Divar XF is a huge advancement in security and surveillance technology, providing crystal clear picture quality and improving security and crowd management.
