Their latest reader, the AY-R12 RGB, combines security with style. It is a unique access control device that is powered through wired inputs, and can be managed remotely through output control from any standard Access Control System.

The AY-R12 RGB reader has the capability to generate up to eight mode options of condition and mood alerts. It can be colour coded using eight different dynamically controlled options to provide advanced alerts. It is designed like a prism with a dark front enhanced by two side light bars and is finished in high gloss to give it a touch of hi-tech chic. The colours, along with how the reader is designed, provide a bright and unique illuminating effect. Emergencies can be colour coded, so it is immediately possible to tell what type of alert is being shown on the reader. This can be utilised in a number of environments including hospitals, offices and within the home. If installed outside, it can be used for functions including visitor arrivals, space occupation and patient line ups.

The readability range of the reader for RFID cards is up to 8 centimetres/3.15 inches. It is protected using a cover tamper optical switch and an optical back.
