Scaffolders are now able to download the confederation's TG20:08 ‘Guide to good practice for scaffolding with tubes and fittings’ produced by the NASC (National Access and Scaffolding Confederation).

The guide is becoming standard practice on site and a free Toolbox Talk booklet and PowerPoint presentation are now available online.

The TG20:08 Toolbox Talk presentation has been developed to ensure site operatives have been informed and trained on the fundamental differences to 'Basic' scaffold design according to TG20:08 (as opposed to previously BS5973).

The presentation covers the specific changes to Load Classes/Duty, Boarded Lifts, Façade/Sway Bracing, Plan Bracing, Ties, Building façades and the responsibilities of Employers & Management.
