| Bradford airport redevelopment scheme approved |

A £28m redevelopment of Leeds Bradford International Airport passenger terminal has been given planning consent.
Architects Pascall+Watson have been chosen to design a two-storey extension to the landside façade of the existing terminal, as well as important internal modifications to the current building.
A new departure lounge will also be provided, with a central seating area benefiting from natural light created from glazed roofing.
There will also be an expanded passenger-security screening zone, improvements to the domestic baggage reclaim hall, and a remodelling of the airside immigration facilities.
