Banner Holdings has been selected as the preferred bidder for a £3.1m refurbishment contract at RAF Alconbury, in Huntingdon.

The contract is for the refurbishment of the commissary including replacement of the refrigeration system. The project will also require Banner Holdings to carry out the renewing of the floor coverings and repairing the wall finishes, decorations and lighting to the sales area and signage.

The store will be operational throughout and the project is due for completion in November 2009.
