Work has begun on repainting The Eiffel Tower as part of an ongoing refurbishment programme that has been in place since 1981.

Greece-based industrial painting contractor Stelma has been appointed to the project and will paint the 220,000m2 surface area by Autumn 2010. Paint manufacturer Jotun Mammut is supplying the urethane-alkyd-based paint.
