12 firms win £500m housing deal

A partnership of four housing associations has named twelve building firms to carry out projects in the North West of England over the next four years. The firms will work for Innovation Chain North West, which represents Great Places Housing Group, Adactus Housing Group, Plus Dane Group and Harvest Housing.

The contractors chosen are:

Frank Haslam Milan
Kier Group
Lovell
Mansell
Rowlinson Construction
Seddon Construction
Southdale
Wates

The framework will consist of several lots covering small new build projects to major jobs worth more than £10m.
The housing group plans to build 1,632 affordable rent homes and 119 low-cost home ownership properties across the North West.

By working in partnership with contractors and consultants, the network aims to deliver quality sustainable homes that are energy efficient and cheaper to run.”
