This important legislation tackles the biggest occupational health killer in Great Britain – asbestos related diseases. Thousands of people have at some time worked in the building or maintenance trades and would have unknowingly come into contact with asbestos containing materials. Whilst virtually all other activities involving potential exposure to asbestos have ceased, evidence suggests that this vulnerable group is still at considerable risk from exposure to asbestos fibre whilst performing their work activities. Clee Safety & Environmental Services Ltd can assist your organisation in complying with the CAR 2006 with the following services : Type 2 – Representative sampling, and analysis to identify ACMs; Type 3 – Full access sampling and identification survey ( statutory for pre-demolition or major refurb); Compilation of asbestos register and management plan; Asbestos awareness training to comply with Regulation (10) of the CAR 2006.
