Transport for London is inviting bids to carry out Phase 2 of the East London Line extension project.

The contract will cover the construction of 1.3km of new railway between Surrey Quays station and Queens Road Peckham station, on Network Rail’s South London Line Railway.

Construction of a new station at Surrey Canal Road may also be included in the contract.

The contract will run from 29 October until 14 September 2011. Interested companies have until 7 May to submit pre-qualification questionnaires.
