| TowerLight offers site lighting service |
Towerlight has launched a service whereby it calculates a site's lighting equipment requirement to meet the Health & Safety Executive's recommended luminance levels after it was found that sites were following past procedures or merely guessing.
Towerlight have worked with the software development company oxyTech on a bespoke version of Litestar, which can calculate lighting levels at all times of the day. By programming the output results using PC software, Towerlight can calculate lighting levels for construction sites, car parks, tunnels, highways and concert venues.
Paul Hay, Towerlight's international sales manager, commented: "With the current emphasis on having correct and safe lighting for site workers, we set about developing this software to help site managers- all they need to do is get in touch with us."
