Kone has been asked to supply eight customised high-rise lifts for the new Infinity Tower in Dubai.

Due to the unique shape of the building, the lift shafts will take on a circular shape, which has required Kone to use its expertise and skills in designing a solution to serve the need to ensure people could access the tower easily. 

With 330 metres and 75 floors, the Infinity Tower will be the highest twisting building in the world. It is being built in the Dubai Marina and will provide stunning views over the surrounding Palm Jumeirah and the Arabian Gulf.

Work will start in 2010 and is estimated to be completed in 2011.
