Patton Group’s interior arm has installed M&E services, internal fixtures and wall, floor and ceiling finishes at the new community library in Shepherds Bush.

Patton Group also installed non-structural partitions, passenger lifts and a balustrade depicting a map of the local area.

Westfield shopping centre in Shepherds Bush had pledged to put something back to the community as part of its giant development – the new library is located at the shopping centre and the public place is filled with 10,000 new fiction and non-fiction books as well as 1000 DVDs, 600 CDs and 25 computers for public use.

The new space includes a wide mix of breakout areas for quiet reading, meetings and exhibitions and offers wifi internet access.
