Aztec £2.5m sheltered housing contract nears completion

Aztec have moved into the social housing arena on a £25m contract to design and refurbish five occupied housing schemes.

The developments will provide more than 200 homes for people living across Merseyside.

So far, Aztec has completed four of the five projects, including Mill Spring Court in Bootle.  Work on the fifth project in Maghull, North Liverpool started in March and looks set for completion within six weeks.

The developments have a boutique hotel feel with hair salons, upgraded communal areas and guest suites to all schemes.

Aztec has worked closely with tenants, scheme managers and project managers to add style and functionality to the developments while trying to cause minimum disruption to tenants.
