Bauhaus at Rossetti Place is the first project in the UK to use Kingspan Kooltherm K15 Rainscreen Cladding with a black foil face rather than traditional silver. Kingspan Kooltherm K15 Rainscreen Board is a premium performance rigid phenolic insulation board, designed for use behind rainscreen cladding systems.  

Architects, Aedas required an insulation product that would offer high quality thermal and fire performance, adhere to Ecohomes requirements and be cost and weather resistance when utilised behind areas of aluminium and timber rainscreen.

The flexibility of these designs can be complemented by the introduction of K15 which, in its ‘black foil faced’ form has permitted us to adopt it behind open-jointed rainscreen systems as demonstrated at Rossetti Place”.
