After a competitive tender process, Walsall Housing Group (WHG) has named Wates and Frank Haslam Milan as its preferred bidders to tackle up to £66m-worth of housing repair work contracts in the West Midlands.


 The scope of the work will include external works such as cladding, guttering and roofs, plus internal upgrades to kitchens, bathrooms, electrics and heating.

 
The scheme will be rolled out over the 19,800 homes WHG manages across the borough and will run from this year up until 2013.
