A Corus Hi-Point off-site modular roofing system has been used to help with the fast-track construction of the Eastfields Station in south London

The roof was specified by Dean & Dyball partly for its speed of installation, as construction could only be carried out when trains were not in operation.

The modules were constructed off-site and comprise a lightweight steel frame – onto which a liner deck was mounted along with a vapour control layer, thermal insulation, flashings, insulated walkable gutters all topped with Kalzip aluminium standing-seam roof sheets.
