Geotech Launch the New G100 C02 Analyser

Geotech, based in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, have been trading since the 1970s in the field of producing monitoring systems for various industries, including groundwork and landfill sites.

The latest addition to Geotech's product range is the new G100 incubator C02 (Carbon Dioxide) analyser. This is a handheld device that analyses the amount of C02 in the atmosphere in places such as landfill sites. It is easy to use with a bright and easy to read frontal display, and, thanks to its inbuilt moisture removal system, the readings given are stable at all times, which is essential on any groundwork site.

The G100 has been produced in part from independent research from Geotech's users. In order to comply with user demand, the G100 is fully configurable and operational from it's screen and keypad. Benefits also include increased memory storage to hold up to 100 readings, timesaving twin probes to simultaneously check incubator top and bottom temperatures and data logging.

Also available with the G100 is the optional 'USB-link cable and G100 software package'. This enables users to be able to connect the reader up to a PC and the Internet. File sharing and customer support are then available from the Geotech online team. This aims in part to reduce the unnecessary return of the unit to a factory should a problem arise. Also, data can be downloaded to a PC/event log, and this can then be used for various purposes including analysing, archiving and graphing if needed. Groundwork and landfill operators should find this is extremely beneficial as it is essential they know C02 levels at all times.

It is recommended that the G100 receives routine maintenance, such as re-calibration and a back-to-factory service at least once a year; the reader will display a notification message when this is due, but will still continue to work as normal.
