Balfour Beatty has been awarded the £100 million Greenwich Schools Building Schools for the Future construction contract by VT Group and will design and build two schools for the east London borough.

They have also secured design and preconstruction work on four schools through the North Lanarkshire Council Schools and Centres 21 Framework. The work is valued at £91 million.

Balfour Beatty chief executive Ian Tyler commented: “We are delighted to have been selected to help deliver these contracts in Greenwich and North Lanarkshire, which will further build on our extensive experience in the education sector.”
