Gatwick Airport has put a £15m contract out to tender to build a multi-storey car park.

The 14-month contract involves the design, fabrication, supply and construction of an 1,100-space building, in a "ground plus 6 raised level configuration". The car park is to be built on a 3,200m2 site, with spiral access ramps external to the building's footprint.

contractors have until 28 September 2009 to express their interest.
