Bidders shortlisted for £300m Scottish hub initiative

Three teams have been shortlisted in the race to become a delivery partner for the first of the Scottish Futures Trust’s community infrastructure hub initiatives.

The three bidding consortia are:
    * Alba Community Partnerships (a consortium made up of Cyril Sweett Investment and Miller Corporate Holdings)
    * Robertson Capital Projects
    * SPACE - Scottish Partnership and Community Enterprise (a consortium of Galliford Try Investments, Fulcrum Infrastructure Management and Davis Langdon).

This is one of the first hub schemes which Scottish Futures Trust are piloting, to pursue value for money in infrastructure investments.

Hub projects involving the construction of new community infrastructure will be delivered through a 'Hub Co' formed by the public sector and a private sector development partner.

Projects included in the first phase of the programme are the construction of a public library and community hub, three community partnership centres and a GP surgery and day care centre.
