On 12th February, Causeway Executives will be putting on their lycra to take part in the Dallaglio Cycle Slam.

The Cycle Slam, led by Dallaglio starts in Rome and ends at Edinburgh’s Murrayfield stadium a month later, cycling over 2800 km including stops at all of the 6 nations stadia and raising £1m for charity in the process.

Sports personalities helping Lawrence along the journey include Les Ferdinand, Zinzan Brooke, John Inverdale and television presenter, Ben Shepard.

All funds raised are being split between Sport Relief, Cancer Research, DebRA, Help for Heroes, PRA Benevolent Fund and Leukaemia Research.

Causeway’s CEO Phil Brown and Chairman, Peter Nagle, are joining Lawrence for two stages - the first and last with Paul Madeira COO Middle East, cycling between Paris Stade de France and Twickenham on Stage 3.

Phil Brown commented: “We are delighted to help Lawrence part of the way on his challenge to ride the 6 Nations grounds from Rome to Edinburgh. This Cycle Slam will raise lots of money for very worthy charities and underlines our commitment to the community, which we take seriously as a company. It will be a challenge to complete the stages in the timescales set but we are looking forward to being part of this very exciting project. The cycle slam will allow us to give something back, help us raise money for Sport Relief and the Dallaglio Foundation charities - the chance of hopefully getting fit in the process is a bonus!”
