Defence Estates is seeking bidders for a £25 million project to build an ammunitioning facility at Portsmouth Naval Base. Up to five teams will be shortlisted for the work and interested contractors have until 7 May to express an interest.

The project will see the construction of a piled concrete platform and two mooring dolphins on Crown Estate seabed. The two-year project is due to start in August next year and a shore site compound with wharfage will be provided for use during the construction period.
