A one-day course 'Close-up Design and Detail of Concrete Buildings' is to be held by The Concrete Centre on 1st April 2009 at the Oxford Brookes University, Oxford.

The course will examine the principles and technology relating to the design of concrete buildings up to four storeys and will be particularly structured around using the building as a climate modifier and keeping its environmental impact whilst maintaining visual architectural interest. The course would benefit architects, architectural technologists and other design professionals.
