| DORMA installs revolving doors at Glasgow College |
DORMA has installed two of its KTV-atrium revolving doors in the main entrance and staff entrance to the new North Glasgow College campus.
The five acre site, which opened in February 2009, works as a focal point both for students and the local community. One of the KTV revolving doors supplied by DORMA incorporates a new glass ceiling design. This was achieved by powering the door from below the central shaft rather than from above.
For the main entrance of the college, DORMA installed a door that minimises noise and dust pollution by using an opening cycle that creates an airlock. This also helps regulate internal air throughout the college entrance.
