| West Country's tallest skyscraper gets the green light |
Work will start this autumn on the West Country's tallest skyscraper after developer Devington Homes was given planning permission for a mixed-use development in Plymouth.
The £89m Oceanique scheme will house flats, restaurants, shops, office space and two hotels within three buildings - the North, the South and the Tower.
The 31-storey tower will include 109 flats and a three-storey restaurant.
While the eight-storey North building will feature shops and a restaurant and more than 250 student flats.
The South building will comprise of two hotels: a 170-bed, four-star hotel complete with conference facilities, swimming pool and shops; as well as a second 140-bed budget hotel.
Devington will start work on the scheme this autumn.
