Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council is inviting bids for a £300m framework covering major highway works within the West Midlands and Telford and Wrekin.

The work for the three-year agreement involves highway improvements and work on bridges and structures, together with other transport related off highway construction.

The work will mainly comprise schemes included in the West Midlands Local Transport Plan.

Contractors have until 28 January to submit pre-qualification questionnaires, from which three contractors will be invited to tender.
