ISG Jackson has been awarded a £4.6m project with Retirement Villages to build a 60 bed care home with staff accommodation on a site in Essex.

The three-storey building features a range of communal facilities at ground floor level with a brick and render façade and pitched slate roof.

The adjacent two-storey staff accommodation building features six en-suite rooms and includes a kitchen and meeting rooms.

Work is set to begin in April, with completion scheduled for spring 2011.
