Quartz Air Conditioning Launch High Performance Sapphire Fan Coil Range

Quartz air conditioning, a division of TEV Ltd, have launched their new and improved Sapphire Fan Coil range.

The previous range of Sapphire coils was extremely popular with air conditioning designers due to their 285mm depth. This enabled the direct connection with 250mm diameter ductwork without any dropped plenums or transition pieces, which often make the job more complicated. However, as technology has moved on, Quartz has improved upon this design to make the coils more modern and to fit in with the ever evolving air conditioning technology.

The new Sapphire fan coils have an identical footprint to the modern Amber range and incorporate enhanced features, including pleated filters, free flow drain trays and mitred plenums. These serve to reduce maintenance requirements, guarantee drainage from condensation and assist in connecting the fan coil to the ductwork. In addition to this, the LoCO2 energy saving option, another of Quartz's latest releases, can be used in conjunction with the new Sapphire range.

The LoCO2 option is available for not only the Sapphire range but all of Quartz's standard fan coils and addresses the issues of energy saving when using high temperature water for cooling and lower water temperature for heating, as well as reduction in energy when moving air around. This option should lower capital costs of air conditioning and serves to complement the new Sapphire range.
