Sanyo Launch New Range of Gas-Driven VRF Air Conditioning System to Reduce Carbon Footprints
With Sanyo's impressive reputation for providing effective air conditioning systems, one could be forgiven for wondering just how the new system could improve upon the old. However, with its carbon gas driven technology and improved performance providing a green alternative to the traditional electric VRF systems, the new ECO G Gas Heat Pumps (GHP) M Series looks set to make an impact on the air conditioning market.
The new M series consists of three different systems; these are:
The ECO G Power is a gas driven VRF that has an electrical power generator; this is the first European system to supply both heating and cooling hot water as well as generate 4.0kW of electrical power.
The ECO G 3 Way Heat Recovery VRF System offers improved performance and gives simultaneous heating and cooling facilities. This comes with 16HP to 25HP capacities.
The ECO G W-Multi 2 Way for Heat Pump Applications offers increased flexibility and is available as multi-systems. This comes with 13HP to 50HP capacities.
Some of the benefits of the new M series include a high performance air exchanger, a newly developed refrigerant heat exchanger and the lowest nitrogen oxide emissions, at 66% below standard. This results in a powerful cooling/heating system, providing superb economy and high performance specs. It also comes with a water chiller option, providing a temperature range from -15 degrees Celsius to +45.
The green aspect of the air conditioning M series really comes into play with the way it efficiently recovers and reuses wasted heat from combustion. This means the system does not need a defrost cycle and can provide a 100% heat performance in conditions with an outside temperature as low as -20 degrees Celsius. The waste heat from the engine is used during the cooling cycle, when it is available to supply hot water at 65 degrees Celsius.
Lastly, keeping in line with Sanyo's environmental policy and 'Think GAIA' vision, the M Series uses R410A refrigerant, which does not deplete the ozone and provides increased energy efficiency and system performance, thus lowering operating costs.
So, with systems such as the M Series making their way onto the map, it is quite exciting to speculate what lies ahead for the future. For further information and a comprehensive list of companies who offer air conditioning services, please visit our website at http://www.buildingregister.com.
