Willmott Dixon requires scaffolding contractors to join NASC
Willmott Dixon has made membership of the National Access and Scaffolding Federation (NASC) compulsory for all contractors working on its the main scaffolding packages.
The move, which comes into force in July this year, will apply to more than 150 Willmott Dixon projects. Willmott Dixon Group head of health and safety Jim Higham said: “Being a National Access and Scaffolding Federation member is the best way to demonstrate all round competency that includes compliance with all relevant CDM regulations. It’s a badge of quality that we expect from companies whose activity working at height to erect and dismantle scaffolding poses a higher than usual safety risk on a construction site.”
